The first step involves understanding the client's business. The more we know, the more focused research we can perform to make the most relevant and valuable recommendations. Areas of focus are the most successful customer implementations, internal specialties and management/employee preferences / perspective. We then use this understanding in collaboration with the client to identify similar companies and segments in the US market. Past, current and present initiatives and trends in these industries will also be considered. The research will involve focus groups, interviews and other telephone-based research techniques. We plan to provide audio visual support including interviews with decision makers within the target segments if possible. This phase will also consider relevant adjacent markets.

  • Competitive Audit
The Competitive Audit involves compiling and presenting information such as competitor clients, positioning, market strategy/focus, portfolio of work, locations, partners, sales model, and services. This goal of this phase is discover competitor's strengths and weaknesses as well as understand the opportunities that you may have to market your services to achieve a competitive edge. We use tools such as GAP Analysis and visual representations of competitor positioning and strengths/weaknesses to effectively present these findings.

  • Assessment and Strategy
The assessment and strategy stage involved defining and focusing on the best opportunities for your business. Our goal is to help you win the clients that best fit with your objectives. We typically identify the 3 best methods for moving forward with expansion into the US market. We will describe the most effective marketing activities. Financial and operational plans will also be developed. Scalability issues will be considered. Corporate structures and legal and compliance requirements will also be identified. Relevent members of our US-based network of sector specialists and advisors will be introduced at this point.

Our findings for each phase are summarized in a report which is presented to the client team. Our goal is to help you translate the strategies and tactics that made you successful in your home market to the US market.
